This enchanting necklace portrays the Sun and the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in the order they are positioned in our space home – The Solar System.
Combining the magic of the galaxy and the fantasies of a creative mind, the beads are an abstract representation of the sun and the planets in their true colors. They are also similar to the actual size of the planets, to scale, in comparison.
The beads are made by meticulously rolling thin strips of upcycled paper into discs. They are coated with a sealant to make them sturdy and water resistant, while preserving the natural color and texture of paper.
The beads are strung through a black waxed cotton cord with a little wooden bead for length adjustment.

The paper beads are protected using a sealant which allows the jewelry to be sweat and splash proof. However, they should not be immersed in water. Read detailed care instructions here.
