Manjadikuru Necklace

 1,250

Manjadikuru are the magical seeds from India, known as Circassian seeds. They are every Keralite’s nostalgia. Ever since I was a kid, I have been an obsessive collector of these beautiful bright red seeds, showering down from hundreds of dried pods of the manjadi tree, which is the “good luck tree” of India. They are soooo beautiful, that I couldn’t resist using them in my jewelry creations.

The pendant base is hand sculpted from recycled cardboard and painted black. At the focus is the Circassian seed. The pendant is connected to black waxed cotton cord.

Pendant diameter – 0.7 inches (1.7 cm) The necklace is adjustable and can be worn as high or low as you like. The maximum length is 30 inches ( 76 cm).

The paper beads are protected using a sealant which allows the jewelry to be sweat and splash proof. However, they should not be immersed in water. Read detailed care instructions here.

All items will arrive in beautiful handcrafted gift boxes, ready for gift giving.
