Folk Amalgam Necklace
This vibrant folk inspired necklace is composed of paper beads made from an exciting stash of recycled paper bags.
Over the years, I’ve passionately collected paper bags in a vibrant range of colors and textures. It gives me immense joy to give them a second life, this time as a thoughtful piece of jewelry. Each bead used in the necklace is uniquely handcrafted from a different paper bag. No two beads are alike.
The beads are made by meticulously rolling recycled paper into beads of different shapes and sizes. They are then given a coat of sealant to make them water resistant.
The paper beads are strung through a black waxed cotton cord. The necklace length can be adjusted with the little wooden bead.
My jewelry making process is incredibly time consuming and tedious, however, the final result always makes me smile. I hope it brings you the same joy 🙂
The necklace is adjustable with a maximum length of 30 inches.

The paper beads are protected using a sealant which allows the jewelry to be sweat and splash proof. However, they should not be immersed in water. Read detailed care instructions.
