The paper beads are given a coat of sealant to make them water resistant.
The beads are strung on black waxed cotton cord.
The necklace has a hand formed naturally oxidised sterling silver hook for closure.
The necklace is wonderfully flexible. Before wearing, gently pull at the ends of the necklace to help the beads fall into the pattern.
